FAQ: dog training & in-home pet care in The Acreage, FL

Use this page to answer the common points first: service scope, group class fit, care rules, medication limits, and how online booking works.

Do reactive dogs belong in group classes?

No. Group classes are not appropriate for reactive dogs. Use the private-training page if you want Barbara to review whether one-on-one training is a workable fit.

What should I bring to class?

Bring high-value treats, water, a bowl, a flat collar or approved training gear, and a safe waiting setup such as a crate when needed.

How does pricing work for classes versus care visits?

Classes are priced as posted series or specialty offers on the classes page. Care services are priced per timed walk, per visit, per night, or as weekly workday packages from the pet-care page.

Can you give medications?

Basic owner-provided medications may be accepted in advance as a paid add-on when written instructions are supplied and the task fits the approved visit plan.

Where are care visits provided?

Care visits are scheduled around the approved home, route, and written care plan after service-area, access, route, and pet-fit review.

How do I start In-Home Pet Care?

Use the pet-care page to select the care path that fits the schedule, send the short availability request, then complete the meet-and-greet and approval process before ongoing In-Home Pet Care begins.

How soon do you reply after I submit booking details?

Most booking requests get a reply within one business day. If the request needs schedule review, class placement review, or home-visit approval, the reply may take a little longer.

What happens if weather cancels a class day?

Weather-related class interruptions are rescheduled so the full 6-week value is protected. We will update enrolled clients with the replacement timing.
